This Co-Ed league is a recreational flag football league for grades K – 6th. Volunteer coaches (mainly parents) will work with youth on developing their football skills, including catching, throwing, quickness, coordination, balance, reactions, etc. Youth will learn good practice techniques and develop interpersonal and teamwork skills. This Co-Ed youth flag football league will take place at Jackson Friends Church for grades K – 6th. Check back in as we get closer to the fall. It will include nine practices and seven games.
The registration cost is $75, which includes a t-shirt, pizza night at the last practice and an end of year gift at the last game! Those that need a new jersey, the cost is $17 (soccer and flag football jerseys are the same, so you can reuse them).

WE ALWAYS NEED COACHES, so if you are a parent are you have a passion for kids and football (and an hour to spare on a week day and Saturday), please volunteer. We will give you all the stuff you need for coaching and devotions. $10 coupon off of a future registration for coaching!
The league will have practices once a week on Tuesday or Thursday at 5:15 PM OR 6:05 PM depending on your team (practices are 50 minutes long, followed by a short devotion), with games on Saturdays, late mornings/early afternoons! We will have one Saturday practice to kick off the league on Saturday August 27th (this practice will be an hour long). There is a small chance of Monday practices too, if we have an overflow of participants/teams. All practices and games will be held at Jackson Friends Church, outside on our fields. In the event we have severe weather conditions, practices may be cancelled and games will be rescheduled.
The league will be split up into three divisions (if need be, we may move division ages around a bit):
K – 1st Grade
2nd – 3rd Grade
4th – 6th Grade
There will be two evaluation offerings before the season starts, so we can split the teams up evenly. Youth must attend ONE evaluation night (in the case that they cannot make either, they will still be able to play). Evaluation opportunities will be Tuesdays 5:30 – 7:00 pm, and Thursdays 5:30 – 7:00 pm (Check back in for upcoming dates for the 2023 season of JFC Flag Football. Youth may come at any time during either of these dates, 5:30 – 7:00 pm (ex. – one kid could show up at 5:50 pm and another shows up at 6:45 pm). The evaluation process only takes about 10 – 15 minutes. We will plan on doing evaluations outside, unless we have bad weather (in which case they will be indoors. You’ll get an email if we have any weather issues). Rosters and Practice Schedule will be announced by Tuesday evening, August 23th (game schedule a week after).
