JFC Summer Volleyball Camps 2025
We are partnering with Coach Johnnie Legrair this summer, to put on TWO volleyball camps here this summer at Jackson Friends Church. These will be three day CO-ED camps running Tuesday through Thursday, for 1.5 hours each day. See dates below.
Johnnie is a former Head Coach for Women's Volleyball at Walsh University. Prior to his first Head Coach position, he coached for Hiram College and Malone University across Volleyball and Track and Field, as an Assistant. In his undergraduate years, Johnnie competed for Malone University Track and Field in hurdles, long jump, and short sprints. For two post-graduate years Johnnie was an Outside Hitter for Kent State University Men's Volleyball at the club level. Johnnie currently trains with Cleveland Kong of the Men's Tier II VLA (Volleyball League of America) as an Opposite Hitter. We are excited to get rolling with Johnnie this summer!
This camp will focus on FUNdamentals of volleyball. Athletes will learn the basic foundational skills for passing, setting, serving and attacking. In addition, athletes will get the opportunity to compete in games for skills and in team play. We will split up the participants into two groups, 3rd – 5th grade and 6th – 8th grade.
